The intelligence embodied in software and technology across a wide range of products has become more important than capital, materials, or labour. The term knowledge economy and knowledge society have been used to emphasize different aspects of the knowledge economy, including the information society, the digital economy, the new economy network or the knowledge economy and the information revolution. Based on the foregoing, the knowledge economy basically means that knowledge is the main engine of economic growth.
