Because of him, international and regional organizations were formed to regulate his affairs, as well as permanent arbitration bodies and centers appeared to settle his disputes, in addition to conferences, seminars and treaties that are held in his regard, and some national and international legislations adopted the responsibility of establishing a legal system that governs his contracts. Looking at oil contracts as a legal means for exploiting petroleum resources, we find that the parties involved are of different nationalities, and both parties hope to achieve basic goals.
